David Williams Casino Poker Chips Expert Review

A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to play in a little local poker tournament in our hometown. Now I’ve played in around 40 tournaments over the last ten years, but none of them were as unique as this one. When we were signing in and received our chips they were nothing like I had ever experienced before. Not only did they feel just like the kind you use in the casino, but they had photos of professionals from all around the world.

My initial batch was David Williams Casino Poker Chips. At first, I thought it was a mistake and actually asked the lady why my poker chips had photos of Mr. Williams on them. She said they specifically bought them to add a little spice to the weekend. So of course, I went with the flow and took my seat. As the night went on, I realized that they were using all kinds of these chips. In fact, every single one of them had a different professional’s photo on it.

I saw ones with Evelyn NG, Hoyt Corkins, Layne Flack, and even Paul Darden. I heard there were Antonio Esfandiari poker chips circling around, but I never came across one of those. I’m pretty sure someone cornered the market on those bad boys. Anyway, I did notice one thing that the David Williams Casino Poker Chips didn’t have compared to all the others. He didn’t have a nickname written on the chips.

However, I don’t recall anyone giving him a nickname that ever stuck. Knowing this it’s not that big of deal, which is why I needed to talk with the tournament director. Needless to say, I wanted to wait until I was knocked out, but knowing where they got the David Williams Casino Poker Chips was important to me. I wanted to get some for the house when all our friends and family came over.

By tournament’s end I placed 13th, which won me $287 and a free seat into next year’s tourney. It was a great time and the funniest part was that people were paying more attention to the poker chips then the game itself. I’m really not that good at Holdem if I’m being truthful here. I feel like I have a ton of tell signs, but I try to mix my body language and expressions up just to keep people off balance.

The point is I think I got lucky coming in 13th, because I had never won anything at any event. I just love to play the game and it’s probably why I was so intrigued about the David Williams Casino Poker Chips. The thought was maybe if I bought some of these poker chips for our home games, I could get an extra edge over my friendly competition.

I haven’t had a chance to set up a party yet, but when I do, I’m going to showcase these David Williams Casino Poker Chips at the center of the table. Might as well get the conversations flowing, and with a little added information passed along, I might just be able to squeeze out a few big pots early to actually win on my home turf. I’ll just have to wait and see.
