Hoyt Corkins Casino Poker Chips Expert Review
A few years back my wife and I took a trip to Las Vegas for our 25th wedding anniversary. We’re both avid Holdem players, but Meredith was more in tune to watching the WSOP. She absolutely loves Hoyt Corkins, and couldn’t wait to see him. Needless to say she looked like a kid again when she saw him in the distance. Tugging on my sleeve, pointing like a tourist. Long story short, we were actually able to get a picture with Hoyt, he gave Meredith an autograph on her cowboy hat, and even ate dinner a couple tables down from us later in the evening. I’m pretty sure she thinks this was our best wedding anniversary, but it should be at the first step to our 50th. Listen, I love playing cards, but her obsession over Mr. Corkins is borderline crazy. It’s a good thing I have more of a sense of humor then a jealousy streak though.
Anyways, a couple weeks ago Meredith wondered if we could go back to Las Vegas. I couldn’t complain, considering we got our stay for free, our meals and drinks at no cost, and came home with an extra $6,800. The only downfall was I won most of my money on stupid slot machines instead of playing some real poker. Seriously, to me winning at slots is like buying a scratch off and hoping for the best.
However, a win is a win, and that was enough to spend half and then keep the rest for the next time out. Meredith didn’t necessarily know we were coming again, but I always had it in the back of my head. Instead of rushing out there though, we invited all the people in the neighborhood to have a live Holdem tournament. We had done it before, but the Hoyt Corkins Casino Poker Chips were only used at the final table.
This time around we went out and purchased ten different sets of Hoyt Corkins Casino Poker Chips. Everyone loved their feel and texture from the last time, even though most of them didn’t really know who Hoyt Corkins was or anything. It’s okay though, if there were any doubters out there, Meredith was sure to tell enough stories about old H.C. By the time she was done there were people who look like they sat through a documentary.
Even though it’s annoying to some, you got to love my wife for being passionate about something. I would much rather her buy 100 sets of these chips then head out to a retail store and purchase all kinds of those bowling ball globes for the front yard. To keep it real though, even if you aren’t a fan of Hoyt’s, the poker chips are the best I’ve ever seen. See, I’m only a fan because my wife’s one. I’d still buy these even if she wasn’t.
